Refund and cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy

  1. Instant Booking and Check-In: No cancellation is allowed.
  2. Day Booking (1-24 hours before check-in):
    1. Cancellations made at least 6 hours before the check-in time will receive a 70% refund of the booking amount paid.
    2. No refund for cancellations made within 6 hours of the check-in time.
  3. Week Booking:
    1. Cancellations made at least 7 days before the check-in date will receive a 70% refund of the booking amount paid.
    2. Cancellations made between 3 to 6 days before the check-in date will receive a 50% refund of the booking amount paid.
    3. No refund for cancellations made within 72 hours of the check-in date.
  4. 1 Month Booking:
    1. Cancellations made at least 30 days before the check-in date will receive a 70% refund of the booking amount paid.
    2. Cancellations made between 15 to 29 days before the check-in date will receive a 50% refund of the booking amount paid.
    3. No refund for cancellations made within 14 days of the check-in date.
  5. More Than 1 Month Booking:
    1. Cancellations made at least 60 days before the check-in date will receive a 70% refund of the booking amount paid.
    2. Cancellations made between 31 to 59 days before the check-in date will receive a 50% refund of the booking amount paid.
    3. No refund for cancellations made within 30 days of the check-in date.
  6. Long-Term Booking (1-12 months):
    1. Cancellations made at least 90 days before the check-in date will receive a 70% refund of the booking amount paid.
    2. Cancellations made between 61 to 89 days before the check-in date will receive a 50% refund of the booking amount paid.
    3. No refund for cancellations made within 60 days of the check-in date.

Refund Policy

  1. Disruptive Events: In case of disruptive events (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions), full refunds, including the booking amount paid, will be provided.
  2. Early Cancellation: Guests who cancel well in advance (as per the timelines above) will receive refunds as outlined, with the booking amount being partially refundable.
  3. Last-Minute Cancellation: No additional refunds for last-minute cancellations (within the specified timelines); the booking amount paid will be retained.

Change of Date Policy

  1. Guests can change their booking dates without penalty if the change is made at least 7 days before the original check-in date.
  2. Changes made within 7 days of the check-in date will be subject to availability and may incur a fee equivalent to one night's stay. The booking amount paid will be transferred to the new booking.

Payment Policy

  1. A booking amount is required to confirm the reservation.
  2. The remaining balance is payable just before checkout.

Special Considerations

  1. No-Show: No refunds will be given for no-shows; the booking amount paid will be retained.
  2. Cooking Partners: In case of no-shows or last-minute cancellations, guests will be responsible for any costs incurred by our cooking partners.
  3. Important Work: Guests are requested to inform us as early as possible if they need to cancel or change their booking to avoid inconvenience.

This policy is designed to ensure fairness and clarity for both guests and hosts. We strive to provide a flexible and accommodating experience while managing the operational needs of our homestay.
